Creative Movement  | Age 3 & 4

Benefits – Designed for our youngest students, these classes offer development in coordination, musical awareness, and listening skills while helping students implement their natural creativity in a stress free environment. Through this program, boys and girls gain a sense of joy and accomplishment.  Sharing this positive experience with their peers, students gain an understanding of teamwork that positively benefits and influences their everyday lives.

Method – Song, basic ballet, tap and tumbling are used to help engage the students’ attention and imagination.  Students perform one dance routine in our annual recital.

Taught once a week for ¾ hour.

Kindercombo | Age 5 & 6

For nearly fifty years this has been one of the most successful programs at The GOLD School, children learn the correct disciplines of the ballet barre, ballet positions, body alignment and center floor work. Students develop a sense of rhythm and musicality through the basics of tap dance.  As the finishing touch, young dancers are also introduced to the exhilarating world of Jazz Dance.  Kindercombo students will perform two dance routines at our annual recital.

Taught once a week for 1 hour.

Students enrolling in Creative Movement and Kindercombo must meet the appropriate age requirement by September 1 of the current school year.  All classes are held from September to May.
