Having a duel
purpose Project Moves offers aspiring dance artists
an incredible scope of dance, theatre and
performance training while providing audiences of
all ages thought provoking works guaranteed to move
the mind body and soul.
What began as a successful competition team,
this program has now evolved into a true
pre-professional company replacing the competition
emphasis with “dance as art”.
Raising
thousands of dollars for various charities, The Gold
School produces two nationally recognized benefit
concerts annually. With professional direction,
choreography, and lighting, these productions offer
young dance artists unparalleled performance
training. Dancers are afforded the opportunity to
work with our professional in-house and guest
choreographers on creative works in all genres of
dance.
Because
the full time faculty determines casting for the
season’s choreography dancers are given the
opportunity to audition in each class taken.
Technically qualified, motivated, dependable, and
most importantly, dancers that are pleasant to work
with, always receive first consideration when
casting.
"Performance Program" rehearsals are in addition to
technique class schedule.
